Ranging
With the touch of a button, the Eliminator 6 delivers instant and precise ranging capabilities, measuring distances up to 2,000+ yards on reflective targets and 1,400 yards on deer hide. Simply place the reticle on the target, press the ranging button, and the distance (in yards or meters) is displayed on the scope's heads-up display (HUD).
Environmental Monitoring
Environmental conditions significantly influence ballistics. The Eliminator 6 incorporates a built-in thermometer, barometer, and inclinometer to automatically measure density altitude (or manually set it if preferred). Based on this data, the scope calculates the optimal ballistic solution using a preloaded database from the Burris Connect app.
Ballistic Compensation
The Eliminator 6's advanced ballistic solutions rely on user data uploaded through the Burris Connect app. The scope connects to the user's mobile device via Bluetooth, enabling the creation of a personalized DOPE card that integrates ranging, environmental, and ballistic information for precise shooting. Users can choose preloaded factory load data or fully customize profiles for various firearms, including muzzleloaders, slug guns, and precision rifles.
Precise Aiming Solutions
Using the digital DOPE card, the Eliminator 6 works with the illuminated X177 reticle to display an exact holdover point for the ranged distance. The reticle also features windage hold-off points, offering a total of 177 aiming points with 1/5 MOA precision for consistent point-of-aim/point-of-impact accuracy.
Comprehensive User Interface
The Eliminator 6's HUD can display up to 10 data points, customizable through the Burris Connect app. Users can enable or disable different zones and toggle between ranged distance and wind hold values according to their preferences.
Digital Guard Rails
The HUD can also show bullet velocity and energy at the targeted range. These features, designed with the "Hunt Responsibly" ethic in mind, help shooters recognize when a shot might be beyond ethical or effective parameters. If terminal ballistic performance is insufficient at a given distance, the Shotcall Indicator (SCI) displays an "X," alerting the shooter to reevaluate the shot.
