The Slikke coat is the most versatile, permissive and suitable raincoat for our local hunts. The eVent Technology waterproof and windproof microporous membrane used in the construction of the Slikke II jacket prevents rainwater from penetrating and allows moisture to escape through its microspores. The membrane is designed with interwoven fibers creating imperceptible pores to block water penetration and allow moisture (vapor) generated by the body to escape.
The Slikke has sealed, waterproof zippers. At the back of the front zipper, it has a rain gutter to add extra protection against infiltration. The seams of the coat are overlapped and sealed with the most waterproof adhesive in the industry. It has a waterproof cuff to provide additional protection against water and moisture.
At the shoulders, where the rain hits hardest, the Slikke II has a pre-molded and articulated one-piece without seams to increase waterproofing at this point. It also has a silicone gripper with stopper to keep your backpack or weapon strap in place. The silicone on the shoulders also allows the load to be received at this point and limits infiltrations due to the compression of the membrane by the weight of your equipment.
The side vents under the arms with zippers are designed to regulate and control body heat. The 3 front pockets are designed at a height allowing you to wear a backpack that attaches to the waist and keep it accessible.
At the hood level, it has a semi-rigid palette to protect the head from showers. The adjustment for the opening of the face is internal to avoid potential infiltrations with a gutter and barrel system. The adjustment at the back of the hood allows the gaze to be cleared and allows the hood to follow the movements of the head. Each zipper pull has a silicone grip to facilitate the opening and closing of the zippers with or without gloves.
