The microporous waterproof and windproof membrane eVent Technology used in the construction of the Slikke II pants prevents rainwater from penetrating and allows moisture to escape through its microspores. The membrane is designed with interwoven fibers creating imperceptible pores to block water penetration while letting moisture (vapor) generated by the body escape.

The Slikke features sealed and waterproof zippers. The seams of the pants are overlapped and sealed with the industry's most waterproof adhesive.

The front of the leg is a practically seamless piece to limit potential infiltrations. They have pre-articulation at the knees and buttocks to allow greater freedom of movement. Inside the waist, their silicone grip and elastic waistband keep them comfortably in place.

The Slikke pants have two deep pockets at the top with sealed and waterproof zippers. The seams of the pants are overlapped and sealed with the industry's most waterproof adhesive. They have ankle adjustments with sealed zippers to wear with different types/sizes of boots. The adjustment and their elastic at the bottom not only seal them against water with the boot but are also designed to slim down the bottom of the pants and avoid excess material that could cause fabric rubbing noise or long-term wear. Their hook at the bottom of the front is used to attach the pants to the laces to keep them in place.
