Designed specifically for all hard-water conditions, the Convergence Ice spinning rods excel whether you're hopping from hole to hole in freezing temperatures or staying in the hut for extended sessions. Shimano crafted the Convergence Ice series with features to enhance both enjoyment and performance on the ice. The Ultra-Light and Medium-Light models are equipped with a custom-shaped AA cork Tennessee handle and a bright orange, hi-viz tip for detecting even the slightest bites. For larger fish, the 40MH and 42H models come with a flat custom-cut EVA rear grip for added leverage against the forearm. All models feature Zirconia guides, while the Ultra-Light, Light, and Medium-Light models also include lightweight coil guides. For improved sensitivity, Shimano placed the hook keeper further from the reel seat to allow direct finger contact with the blank. Purposefully engineered to match angler preferences, the new Convergence Ice series is designed for maximum performance.
